Jen makes jewellery in silver and gold, inspired by landscapes around Scotland. She enjoys making pieces using a clients favourite landscapes and is most happy in her workshop.
I am a textile artist working in feltmaking and embroidery, producing large wallhangings and small framed pieces for exhibition and commission. I use merino fleece and silk fibres hand dyed in warm brilliant colours and make the felt by a traditional method, rolling the fleece in a reed mat. Detail and texture are added with machine and hand embroidery. My chief source for design is the natural world - plants, flowers and landscape patterns, particularly the coastal wildlife and landscape near my home.

We still weave the radiant wall panels that have been the image associated with the Findhorn Weaving Studio since its opening in 1971, most famous the Sunrise Panel. We also weave and knit a range of scarves, towels, jewellery and other unique pieces, as well as commissions. Sharing and learning weaving and knitting are an important part of the Studio's work, and the Findhorn Weaving Studio offers beginner's classes for adults and children, and possibilities for advanced weavers to continue to learn, join us, or arrange apprenticeships.
Inspired by all things glass‚ and especially fascinated by the diversity and flexibility of warm glass‚ I design and create fused glass art‚ including wall panels‚ coasters‚ window hangers, bowls and jewellery.
