My inspiration comes from the countryside where I live and take long walks, which allow me to source the designs and shapes I use in my work. I am very interested in texture and the 'touchy-feely' aspect of objects around us, therefore incorporating this aspect into my work gives for a very warm tactile feel to my scarves.

Heartfelt at Dalmally Station is a new venue for Heartfelt by Liz.
Dalmally station is a working railway station on the Caledonian line, just 40 minutes from Oban and two hours from Glasgow. Step off the train into the former ticket office and you will now see a studio full of Liz’s creations and delightful local crafts.
Dalmally Station is a wonderful sandstone building built in 1875, now being restored it will eventually reveal the Duke of Argyll’s waiting room, which still exists.
Many of Liz’s skills involve teaching the craft of Feltmaking and Dalmally Station is the perfect setting to come and learn! A wide range of workshops are on offer. Open to the visiting public throughout the season.
I produce colourful paintings on silk. These are available as greetings cards, framed paintings, scarves, cushions and ties.
