Fun Makes Good specialises in re-working previously unloved items of furniture with stunning bespoke upholstery, blending traditional techniques with a distinctive graphic aesthetic. Inspired by contemporary architectural forms and geometric shapes, Fun Makes Good combines detailed embroidery techniques with bold patterns and creative colour combinations to produce a striking range of interior products using locally sourced, specialist wools, leathers and hand dyed cotton.
Eli creates ethical and beautiful embroidered soft furnishings and accessories, stitched by hand and machine. Coastal landscapes of Scotland, Norway, Portugal and Sri Lanka inform and flavour of the patterns and textures that she constructs into sumptuous layers or bold graphic imagery and motifs.
We make hand woven rugs/wall hangings from the fleece of the Isle of Muck sheep. These can either be plain or have a felted picture on them.
Pictures include Barn Owl, Red Deer Stag, Puffins, Highland Mare and Foal, Tiger, Eagle Owl, and Emperor Penguins with Chick.
Using a supplied photo we can produce a bespoke rug with a picture of your pet.

Memories are Made of These - At DialEmma Designs, artist Emma Fellowes is creating the most exquisite personalised silk-painted heirlooms of the future. The paintings depict all manner of events, from a stork announcing baby's date of birth and weight, to a church bell entwined with rings and ribbons to commemorate a wedding day.
Working with organic fair trade cotton I produce a range of screen printed products for the home and accessories market.
