Edinburgh Contemporary Crafts was established in 2011 and moved to it's current location on Blair Street in the summer of 2013. A multi disciplinary craft studio providing workshop space, a programme of courses and gallery.
Fun Makes Goods distinctive designs are inspired by contemporary architectural forms and geometric shapes and combine a love of textiles with bold patterns and creative colour combinations to produce a striking range of soft furnishings, interior products, accessories and bespoke client commissions. Fun Makes Good also specialises in re-working previously unloved items of furniture with bespoke upholstery, blending traditional techniques with a characteristic graphic aesthetic.
We make hand woven rugs/wall hangings from the fleece of the Isle of Muck sheep. These can either be plain or have a felted picture on them.

The paintings depict all manner of events, from a stork announcing baby's date of birth and weight, to a church bell entwined with rings and ribbons to commemorate a wedding day.
