Catriona makes contemporary silversmithing and jewellery using mainly silver and often incorporates gold details. Her work is delicate in style with subtle tones of a floral influence. Plant forms and structure have been the inspiration for her work. She uses traditional techniques such as scoring and folding, hand raising, forging, hammered textures and kumbo which is a process for applying gold foil to the surface of silver.

I design and produce a wide range of contemporary ceramic giftware in conjunction with the small-scale production of bespoke functional tiles for the home. Using traditional tile-making techniques and high quality white earthenware, I create individual wall pieces and interior accessories such as coasters and pot stands - even occasionally something that isn't flat! Each piece is hand cut, drawn and glazed, making every one unique.

I like to experiment using different materials (eg molten glass and metal) where possible and hope that the finished product will have a domestic use as well as being decorative. All works are hand built /and or thrown on the wheel, using a diverse range of clay, glazes and glaze firings.
