Isabelle is a Masterbookbinder based at the OWL & LION, her specialty is 18th Century Leather Binding and marbling and printing traditional decorative papers.
I design and make hand woven fabric in my studio in central Edinburgh on a 32 shaft computerised Louet Megado 130 Loom.
My wearable fabrics are exploring the rich Scottish landscape through repetitive pattern and texture employing treble cloth structures, which also look at the shrink qualities of the yarn types used to further enhance textured surface through the finishing processes.
Jane Keith produces contemporary hand-printed textiles from studios in Dundee and North Fife. She is best known for her contemporary range of hand printed ties. The ties have a strong client following and are regularly seen on TV presenters, celebrities, actors and politicians around the globe.
Jane Keith also produces large colourful hand painted silk wall hangings made to commission. They are built up using a complex layering process of varying types of dyes, pigments and processes, combining cutting edge technology with traditional applications.

Deschenes is a textile designer specialising in hand screen printing and embroidery. Her collections involve reworking vintage fabrics, clothes and ephemera. Deschenes' work always has a narrative at its core and she notes drawing as very important as a means of expressing this.
Closeknit produces a range of knitted and felted fashion accessories comprising bags, scarves and corsages. Using only the finest lambswool yarns, each piece is individually handcrafted in Scotland using traditional skills.
Texture, colour and imagination are the main threads running through my work.
