Paparwark Furniture specialises in designing and manufacturing furniture from quality hardwoods and veneers, aiming to provide a service for clients who envision unique pieces of furniture for their living environment. Many of the pieces are inspired from the culture and natural environment in Shetland. Shapes and forms from the clients interests and hobbies are incorporated into the designs. The inspiration for my work is nature. I aim to capture the delicate textures and shapes of nature in metal. After studying natural forms, by drawing and photographing them. I take shapes and textures I find interesting and translate them into designs for jewellery.
