Chrissie Heughan constructs unique works with paper formed by the simple gesture of hand papermaking.
One of the foremost creators of hand cast paper; Chrissie combines both traditional and contemporary techniques.
Chrissies paperwork’s are hand dyed, hand constructed two and three-dimensional forms. They include paper fibres from plants such as cotton, Kozo and Abaca, recycled paper and may also contain collage and print. Her works range in scale from packs of papers, paper luminaries, and cast paper wall relief's through to large-scale hangings.Location:
