Hannah works from her studio in Castle Douglas. Her limited edition pieces created for craftscotland include a large bowl with a small raised textured area with a sprig of clay in red earthenware decorated with a tulip motif, an age old symbol with love, and a large platter and plate with a slip trailed oak tree with sprigs of leaves and acorns. She makes pots with a purpose, pots for use in the home, and enjoys creating pieces that do their job well and are attractive to have around the house. Her collection of oak and horse chestnut trees in pots outside her studio are often recreated in her work. She trained at Manchester Metropolitan University and moved to Scotland in 2002.
