The experience of visiting Antarctica inspired Rachel to create a range of paper sculptures exploring the paper qualities of ice.  This response to her environment has been the source for icebergs from tissue paper, lightbergs and paper ice cliffs and ice shelves made using traditional book binding techniques.

She is currently on the shortlist for a Creative Scotland Award for her proposal to commemorate International Polar Year with an interactive paper ice cliff.
