Inge Panneels, who is originally from Belgium, trained at Edinburgh College of Art and lives in the Scottish Borders.  Her trademark is bold contemporary design, modern style and rich colours and textures. 

She has her own contemporary glass studio, Idagos, making bespoke architectural pieces and designing her own range of glassware.  Last year she completed a commission at Ann Lanntair Isle of Lewis. 

She is exhibiting in Green at the Collins Gallery in September, an exhibition of work using recycled materials by members of design Ed.
