James Donald, who is based in Edinburgh, trained at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in Dundee.

His label, PickOne, features woven scarves and shawls in Shetland Yarn inspired by the colours of the Scottish land and seascapes. His customers include actress Susan Sarandon. 

He exhibits regularly at the New York International Gift Fair and the San Francisco International Gift Fair.
