Lisa works in mixed media, combining mould making, woodcarving, plastics, enamelling and metalwork, to create figurative sculptural work combined with jewellery. These highly collectible limited edition figures are sculptural, often abstract, surreal and even cartoon like. Her new ‘Unwanted Papooses’ range was launched at Homes & Interiors Scotland, hand drawn in black and white on stone plastic, which is an offshoot of her ‘Papoose’ collection. Each has a part that can be detached to become a brooch or pendant. She graduated in jewellery from Edinburgh College of Art in 2000 and she has exhibited across the UK including Gifted at the National Museum of Scotland in 2007. |
