Accepts Commissions

I work mainly in silver and like to create quirky pieces which are inspired by the world around me. I live in the country and look onto fields of cows and sheep every morning. My farmyard brooches are a reflection of my love of all things rural.
I include semi precious charms of different shapes and colours in many of my piece and enjoy the look of most things ecclectic.
Texture is also an important factor in my work. I'm interested in the contrast of a smooth highly polished surface to that of the rough almost 'moon like' texture of some of my more simple pieces.
Jewellery should be a micro expression of ones personality and something which makes you feel special. I enjoy making commissions as personal as possible whether it is writing a quote outside a ring or punching out some initial letters on a small spoon.
I enjoy making unusual silver gifts, anything from personalised silver 'fairy' wands to silver plectrums and chip forks.
My work is available to buy at JKJewellery ,9 Park Rd, Kelvinbridge, Glasgow and on-line at www.JKJewellery.co.uk.
