Joachim is a designer and maker of custom built modern furniture and accessories, to commission and also as exhibition pieces. Working mostly in wood, the pieces are designed first as practical objects and second as beautiful forms. This is the result of engineering experience combined with a passion for sculpture and a family history of traditional crafts.

Joachim always tries where possible to work in a sustainable way, using local and reclaimed timber or reusing off cuts. Larger interior projects requiring site specific design and fitting or project management are also undertaken. By paying attention to detail and liaising closely with clients Joachim provides a personalised service to ensure complete satisfaction with the finished product.
