While working in a graphic design studio I was asked to produce designs for glassware. I was then approached to join a stained glass company and manufacture my own designs. After two years I decided I wanted to know more about glass techniques and left the company to study stained glass manufacturing at North Glasgow college. The three year course gave me an insight into fusing, slumping, painting, leading, foiling, sandblasting, and more.

Since graduating I have set up my own studio and produce artifacts using many of these techniques. My influences come from Japanese, Native American art, and the natural world where a strong design element is evident. These are my main sources but I am interested in many design styles.

I produce mirrors, lamps, plates, jewellery, suncatchers, wall hangings and freestanding artefacts. In addition I also accept commissions for leaded stained glass windows. These could be manufactured in the traditional leaded style but in a totally contemporary design. My aim is to produce unique, quality pieces that will provide pleasure for many years.
