As a Fine Art graduate I have developed an enthusiasm for leather as it combines beauty with utility and its natural scarring and irregularities can prove unpredictable therefore each project is absorbing, each piece as exciting as the first. Due to this variable nature every product is unique and continually develops its own character with every day of use as the leather breaks in and becomes more supple.

Inspiration for the handbags is initiallly drawn from the raw appearance of medieval leather wear with its simplicity and invaluable quality, and I then incorporate ideas from today's fashions, to create each style.

Each items is individually designed and cut from high quality vegetable-tan cow hide and coloured suede to ensure strength and durability. After cutting, the leather is handcarved, dyed and painted, finished with fixings and fasteners, then finally handstitched or laced. Every stage of the work is handmade and only small hand tools are used.

Products range from handbags, belts and dog collars to motorcycle luggage, however I do invite custom orders with particular items and ideas in mind.
