Designed by nature, crafted by hand. Woodlore makes quality clocks, bowls, lamps, bookends, mirrors and smaller end furniture. We use Scottish hardwoods (elm, oak, ash, yew etc) from environmentally friendly sources. All items are made by hand and are essentially unique.

The design; " I always try to work with the wood and let it suggest its end use. In some cases it may end up as a sculpture, in other cases it may end up as a bowl or a lamp. The finish; Woodlore products are finnished to a high standard using linseed oil, beeswax and 'elbow grease'. In some cases Danish oil will be used when a more waterproof finish is desired, e.g. a bathroom cabinet or kitchen clock. For chopping blocks or salad bowls I use Almond oil.
