I make a wide range of practical domestic turned woodware. The woods used are all hardwoods, locally sourced in the Highlands and include ash, beech, birch, cherry (gean), elm, holly, rowan, sycamore, walnut and yew. Some of these woods are spalted, e.g. beech and sycamore, to enhance their decorative function.

The items made show a simplicity of design linked to their domestic functions, while allowing the beauty of the wood to be evident. The range of products includes bowls for fruit, salad, porridge and pasta, platters and dishes, boards for bread, cheese, vegetables and garlic. Ornamental items include apples, pears, vases, natural edged bowls and candleholders, while other functional items include three and four-legged stools and table lamps.

The current stock usually also includes very large diameter boards, platters and bowls, these products can be very eye-catching yet still functional.
