All glass is fired in a kiln - all colour is permanent and won't chip off.
I use a mixture of traditional and modern methods to produce a depth of colour.
All pieces are individually coloured and therefore do not have the appearance of bought glass.
All work is produced using clear float glass. Ground coloured glass is fired onto blanks and detail is added using paint and enamels.
I produce large and small panels, mirrors, lighting and bowls.
I do figurative work, pattern and laminated pieces based on 50s fabrics, wallpapers, lingerie and corsetry. I also produce a range of items which feature floral studies that have fused and twisted petals or leaves. This has a 3-D effect.
My work has been exhibited in many galleries in Scotland and England.
