I produce slip cast and press moulded porcelain forms. I cast and customise made and found objects to create an eclectic collection of functional household items. The crockery is unified in the casting process when each shape is made in matching shades of gray or white. Limited editions are created by the addition of enamel, or underglaze, in sequence and series of pattern and colour.

I work with humble forms and beautify their simplicity, to celebrate the humdrum of the everyday. I intend the work I make to be used and enjoyed. But its function is two fold. When lying idle these objects create a still life, in relation to themselves, other objects or the furniture around them.

These objects are a nod to the quirkiness of habit. They are cast, yet each item is slightly different, whether by the curve of the shape of the thickness of the rim. Their oddity makes them special.
