I make large pieces of sculpture for the garden. They are made of 18 gauge galvanised mesh and dipped in zinc or copper oxide. Each sculpture is individual and lifesize. Generally they represent an animal of some kind. I make drawings, take measurements and photos of my subjects so the result has the character of the creature and glanced quickly shocks you into believing its the real thing.

I have been working with metal all my life, I used to make small precious objects, its only recently that I have been making these satisfactory lifesize ones. Sometimes I make groups of animals which can be displayed together or individually, the arrangement can be altered to suit an individual's tastes or the site situation.
