I design and make hand-carved wooden jewellery, combs, hair-slides and other small carvings, inspired by Pictish, Celtic, Art Nouveau and mythological imagery. The range of jewellery includes earrings, pendants, necklaces, brooches and kilt pins.
The woods used are all either sustainably produced British hardwoods, recycled, re-used or salvaged. Some of the designs incorporate the use of gemstones such as amber, onyx, turquoise, jade and lapis lazuli. All findings are sterling silver, although gold or other metals are available on request.
With a background of 20 years experience in woodwork including prize-winning toys and carvings, furniture-making and turning, I have been gradually developing this range of jeweller and combs for the last 3 years. New designs are being added as an on-going process and special items are made to commission.
