Woodturning and floral designs that compliment each other. The wood turned vases can be used to hold floral designs that I have constructed or for a single fresh bloom, e.g. a rose from the garden. Both traditional and contemporary designs in both fields are produced here in the Highlands by myself. A range of bowls, vases, candlesticks, keyfobs and now a new range of Garden "Funguy's", (fungi) which have been turned from locally sourced wood, some resulting from the hurricane force winds of earlier this year. The "Funguy's" are designed to be planted in the garden or in tubs and create an added interest and talking point for friends and neighbours.

Special orders and commission are undertaken. I attend local craft fairs and the Black Isle show, Moy show, some 3D2D events in Scotland and have a showroom at my home for passers by to view my work. Although I have only been turning since 2002 I have achieved great satisfaction from this and still ooh and aah at the markings and grain that appears in the wood.

My previous life work was as a qualified florist and lecturer. Flowers and gardening in general have always been a great passion of mine. I hope you enjoy the wooden designs as well. I am also a watercolourist specialising in FLORA paintings.
