I became interested in stone carving whilst researching and writing my art school dissertation on 18th and 19th century Scottish gravestones in 1988. I trained as a stonecarver, working with a number of other carvers and set up my business in 1995. I work to commission on a wide variety of projects ranging in size and complexity from house signs to large public art schemes.
