My work deals largely with social constructions of gender and femininity. I work mainly with sterling silver but incorporate printed textiles, fabrics and stones. Sensual decorative forms are folded to create a distorted ambiguous shapes while the textile range traps bold images that contrast with silver frames denoting the traditional techniques of embroidery and cross stitch as an inherently female based craft.
