Primarily I am a hand spinner, and I incorporate my yarns into most of my work, creating everything from purses to large works for the wall.

I blend natural and manmade fibres, dyed and undyed, to produce unique yarns which I wrap, crochet, knit, stitch, felt or even just sell! Most of my textile pieces are one-offs.

Some of the yarns find their way into detailed collages which also feature handmade papers, silks, fibres, wire, paper beads and recycled and found objects.

My passion for colour has led me to explore further and I am now creating mixed media works for walls which often combine acrylic paints with fabrics, fibres and gold leaf.
