Craft MakerPeter Goodfellow Elgin, Moray
Ivybank Croft Accepts Commissions Visitor count: 503 Originally from Australia and now based in the heart of malt whisky country, Scotland, I studied and graduated from the Newark School of Violinmaking with an upper merit. In my workshop, established in 1996, I make instruments of the violin family. Namely Violin, Viola and Cello. My work is largely influenced by the Classical Italian Makers of the Cremonese and Venetian Schools of Violinmaking. I continually strive to develop my own personal style and tone in the instruments I make using the finest European and Scottish Tonewoods. The result of which instruments have won awards at major international violinmaking competitions. |
