Mike carves marble and serpentine from the highlands, directly shaping them into highly finished forms. These forms, inspired by nature, range from the abstract to the representational, influenced by the natural colour and strength of the material making every one unique.

Originally from Leith, Mike settled in Easter Ross with his family ten years ago. Individual pieces have been shown through the RSA and RGI over the years.
Mike began carving at an early age and has continued to sculpt and paint since graduating from Dundee Art college.
