My craft is turning recycled scrap metal into instantly recognisable pieces of sculpture. Each piece is a total one of a kind, this being dictated by the pieces of scrap metal i can get my hands on at the time.
All my sculptures are mig-welded together for a strong bond, then shot blasted to remove any impurities or contaminates. After this its off to my paintshop where they are base coated with usualy a high grade of metalic paint, this will depend on the design of the sculpture as some may have a few different colours. Once the base is dry i will drop in some highlights and shading with an airbrush, this dramatically changes a somewhat flat appearance and gives more depth. The finishing stage requires three coats of high quality 2pac lacquer, this gives a nice polished shine to the finished article
