My glass work represents my personal take on nature; I believe many natural materials share similar qualities of glass. I admire the tactile look and feel of the material. In my architectural glass I like the way I can bring it to life, give it movement and texture manipulating the material in different temperature stages and in different techniques such as kiln cast and direct cast. I use the glassblowing technique to achieve my organic sculptural forms. ‘Making glass is a way of accessing a world increasingly excluded from our everyday life.’
