Fursbreck Pottery, based in Orkney, is run by potter Andrew Appleby who produces hand thrown pottery.

Andrew Appleby established Fursbreck Pottery in the 1970s and has built a reputation for practical pottery with distinctive style.

The terracotta clay he uses is extremely fine and fires at a very high temperature, giving excellent glaze quality. His pottery is oven, dishwasher and microwave proof.

Tea pots and jugs pour nicely and you are welcome to test them at the pottery. Casseroles cook stupendously well and the mugs, beakers and goblets are fine and light and are a joy to drink from.

You are most welcome to visit us at the pottery in Harray. Fursbreck is a working pottery, so what you will see depends on what is being done at the time.
