I have always been drawn towards the textile discipline and accessories and so fashion and fabrics were an obvious choice of inspiration for my jewellery.

My attaction to colour and all things kitsch has led me to investigate Japanese 'Decora' streetstyle, which can only be described as an eclectic mix of fabrics and patterns to create almost contradictory fashion statements. I love the mixing of different styles from antique floral to playful fruits and polka dots and somehow i wanted to get this across in my jewellery. My work is made up of precious metals, resin, acrylic and textiles. I like to layer different textile patterns in both photo-etched silver and vibrant (sometimes vintage) fabrics to create fun, feminine and fashion-orientated jewellery. The bold use of colour and pattern excites me. I like how textiles create a more tactile quality to my jewellery as well as adding a playful focus.
