2006 has opened the door for the new Scottish/European style launched by Glasgow’s most elite designer, Carol Lepick. Her collection is expensive, exclusive, designed to hang beside Chanel or Prada and to be worn with a pair of strappy Manolos!

The true essence of this new exciting style comes from deep within the cool culture of Glasgow City. Lepick’s collection is very much understated but high in elegance and class. Her collection is clean, contemporary, using a limited colour palette of black and white. Inspired by Minimalist artist Barbara Hepworth she creates sophisticated, simple and timeless clothes for women using luxurious and innovative fabrics, finished off with Pewter and Silver buttons. Combining the non-superfluous with the opulent, she has created a collection fit for the twenty first century lady.

Carol graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Printed Textiles from Glasgow School Of Art. At this time she began selling to Calvin Klein, DKNY and Louis Vuitton. After her brief time at the Royal College of Art, she returned to her roots in Glasgow where she felt most inspired, to produce her own collection gaining a Masters Degree in Design Practice: Textiles As Fashion.

Lepick designs for sophisticated, intelligent women, who believe in wearing clothes, not to distract from but to accentuate one’s existing beauty. Her clothes are understated, almost classic, sharp and immaculate. Using graphic patterns with Victorian content she has produced a collection of exquisite contradictions.
