JANE B. GIBSON is a well established painter living in the ARTISTS' TOWN of Kirkcudbright.The fine detail in all the work she creates is something customers first admire when visiting her working studio.

She has received awards for her fine art miniatures in London and is the only full member of the ROYAL SOCIETY OF MINIATURE PAINTERS SCULPTORS AND GRAVERS..living in Scotland. She is also a full member of the HILLIARD SOCIETY OF MINIATURES and member of the WORLD FEDERATION OF MINIATURISTS.

Although she paints miniatures of people, pets and landscapes mainly in oil on ivorine. Her work is not restricted to miniatures. Large oils, watercolours and pastels adorn her studio walls where visitors can view local landscapes, seascapes , still life and wildlife paintings.
