Leaving MMU's embroidery course with a first class degree led on to varous positions within textile design - working as an embroidery designer in the fashion industry in Australia, a position at the Embroiderers Guild, Hampton Court Palace and then at Squigee in Glasgow. It was here, at Squigee, working on wallpaper collections aswell as woven & printed textiles that my passion for simplicity in design grew & took shape & after leaving Squigee to raise a family I decided to fulfil a lifelong ambition to become an independant designer.
