Emma Pattullo (nee Croker Poole) - ceramicist, illustrator and pottery tutor.

Inspired by a variety of sources including her two children and the Scottish landscape, Emma most enjoys hand building in earthenware clay using texture‚ engobes and luster’s to create richly colored‚ decorative and tactile pieces. Her ceramics is constantly evolving and she is happiest expressing herself and her ideas through clay, resulting in a wide range of ceramics. Emma’s contemporary work varies from functional to sculptural‚ as well as making commemorative bowls, and platters to commission (commemorative items can be personalized to make an ideal gift for weddings, namings, anniversaries or any other special occasion). She also specializes in custom handmade and hand painted tiles.

Emma also teaches pottery workshops from her studio, schools and art groups/centers around Aberdeenshire, catering for a variety of ages and abilities, small groups and one to one tuition, so that individual tuition & attention is received.
