My jewellery is unashamedly decorative, yet wearable, taking it's infuences from floral imagery and patterns, and demonstrating my interest in the styles and motifs of Art Deco. In my work I've tried to capture the sophistication and femininity of the period, whilst updating it with a contemporary twist. My recent work has taken its' direction from imagery associated with styles from both home and abroad, including necklaces, earrings and brooches decorated with decadent Venetian fans. A recent visit to Yorkshire's stately Castle Howard has resulted in a small series inspired by the magnificent peacocks parading the grounds there.

Precious metal is combined with leather and semi-precious beads which create highlights of colour ranging from subtle grey to vibrant teal green.

I'm an Edinburgh College of Art graduate and have exhibited my work widely in the UK, including showing at Chelsea Crafts Fair. I live in West Lothian, but work from a WASPS studio in Dalry, Edinburgh.
