Jane Raven is an artist who set up her own design and production workshop in Edinburgh eight years ago.

Having completed a diploma in Decorative Arts at City and Guilds of London Art School in 1998, she has continued to practice the course’s philosophy of producing ‘functional art’ by launching her wide range of glassware. Jane stencils and sandblasts the glass by hand, which is why it cannot be produced for a mass market. Having shown her work in galleries around Scotland, she now has clients throughout the world - in countries as diverse as Argentina, America, The Caribbean, China and Australia.

Jane's glassware makes the perfect present, whether it be Christmas, birthday, wedding, anniversary, retirement or christening. In addition to the commissioned items shown on the website, many of the glassware designs lend themselves to being personalised. Almost anything is possible so if you have a project in mind, please don't hesitate to ask.. Jane can also provide splash-backs for kitchens and bathrooms.

Although a complete departure from glass, Jane’s stone work complements it perfectly. Items available include initialled pebbles in addition to personalised wedding, anniversary or christening stones.
