My jewellery is hand made, detailed and colourful. I use precious metals, coloured stones, and time. Time taken to discover the qualities of the materials, time to learn the hand skills, and time to create and concentrate ideas into new work. These pieces are made to be worn and enjoyed. They often go on to hold significant places in their owners lives.

I graduated from Sheffield College of Art in 1976 and have worked as a studio jeweller since 1979. My work is included in the National Museums of Scotland craft collection. In 2000 I was awarded a Scottish Arts Council award and this has enabled me to make a special study of fusion and granulation techniques.
