Lindean Mill Glass is the partnership of David Kaplan and Annica Sandstrom. The workshop has been established since 1978 in the Scottish Borders.

David Kaplan started blowing glass in the USA, then trained at Edinburgh College of Art and at Orrefors Glass School, before working professionally in Sweden. Annica Sandstrom studied glass and ceramic in Sweden before moving to Scotland.

The glass studio is internationally renowned for beautifully designed contemporary tableware and an ever changing collection of individual vessels, plates and panels. Over the years the workshop has trained a large number of students, many of whom have continued to work with glass and set up their studios.

The work can be seen in major public and private collections in the UK. In 2006 a metal and glass sculpture, Divergence, was commissioned by Aberdeen Art Gallery and made in collaboration with John Creed.

2007 Side by Side, an exhibition celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Contemporary Glass Society at the Devon Guild of Craftsmen, Bovey Tracy.
2006 a solo exhibition of New Work was shown at the Scottish Gallery, Edinburgh
2005 21st Century British Glass Exhibition at the Daniel Katz Gallery, London
