The handmade silk bags and purses in my collection have been designed to be used for special occasions such as weddings or a trip to the theatre or ballet. They are available in a selection of vibrant colours, and the various styles shown on my website include embroidered, beaded and quilted items.

I have worked with textiles and costume for over 20 years as a freelance costume maker, and also making contemporary quilts and embroidered textiles.
As a costume maker, I began my career in 1985, after completing my training at Cambridge Art School and London College of Fashion, when I worked on the television series 'Spitting Image'. I was a regular freelancer for 'Jim Henson's Creature Shop', fabricating animatronic and puppet characters, as well as making creature costumes. During this period I worked on many film and television projects, such as 'Muppet Treasure Island', '101 Dalmatians' and 'Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy', as well as making more traditional costumes for television, film and stage.

I am currently based at my studio in Scotland where I make commissioned costumes, embroidered textiles and quilts, alongside my collection of bags and purses.
