I have recently opened a jewellery workshop in Stirling. I studied Jewellery Production,Design and Business Management at Lauder College in Fife. I was awarded the college prize for Jewellery Studies 2005-2006.
All my jewellery is designed and handmade in my workshop.
I usually create pieces in silver, with occasional accents of gold, often geometric in shape, with textures and patterns inspired by nature. I experiment with a variety of techniques such as fold-forming, roll printing and oxidising. Manipulating metal by scoring, folding, hammering and rolling allows me to create three dimensional pieces.
A rich colour variety is important in my work, which often incorporates semi-precious gemstones and freshwater pearls. I produce one-off pieces and small themed ranges.Collections include rings, bracelets, bangles, earrings, brooches and neckpieces. My work is shown in several galleries and is available in selected retail outlets.
