The textures and colours of India initially inspired my relationship with jewellery design and its creation. The children there were tremendously resourceful, and would make wonderful pieces with old junk and discarded objects. The children from the city of Rishikesh in Northern India wore amazing necklaces made from recycled toys. I admired this quirky way of creation, and realised that it is your imagination that is your limitation when it comes to jewellery design.

Purple Pomegranate is the name of my business. The jewellery I make is based on an eclectic mix of old, new and found objects. My work incorporates a vast array of materials, which include, wire, silver, semi-precious gemstones, freshwater pearls and enamelling. Purple Pomegranate jewellery gives an eccentric, quirky look to any wardrobe. Visitors will be given a visual feast of texture, and glorious colour. Necklaces, earrings and other adornments will enthuse young and old alike.
