My partner (Jean Fullerton) and I have been producing bespoke handbags since Oct. 2006. Jean knits long lengths of material on her knitting machine using 100% Shetland wool, incorporating traditional Fair Isle patterns. She then washes the wool lengths at a temperature necessary, to slightly felt the material. She then passes on the material to me, and I then design and sew the handbags. Each handbag is unique and made to a very high standard. Every bag is lined with colour co-ordinated satin and closes with either magnetic fastners or loop and toggle. The bags range in size from approx.12"x10" down to 5"x6", with varying lengths of handles. Some are oblong in shape with a plain top,or with a fold over top. Others are flat bottom boxed shape with double handles. We would gladly accept orders. Any colour themes are available.
