I am a Scottish Goldsmith and enameller living and working in the Highlands. I am inspired by the indigenous widlife and our interaction with it. I use traditional ancient techniques to produce exciting contemporary jewellery which expresses my reactions to the Highland lifestye. I would describe my work as vibrant, colourful, detailed and I hope thought-provoking. I enjoy designing jewellery with clients and reacting to their brief. I work in fine silver, 18ct gold and platinum, achieving colour and pattern in my work with enamel and stones; diamonds, opals, pearls, amber, found objects including fossils and locally collected Scottish Cairngorms garnets and amethysts. I am a member of the National Associations of Goldsmiths and have won the following awards: The Platinum Award, The Hammermen Award and the Scottish Gold.
