Jim Kirkwood has been associated with the craft scene in Scotland for many years. Working in leather he has designed and produced a variety of original items from costume jewellery and handbags to a unique security pocket which was selected to carry the pretigious Design Centre label. An award winner in the 'Souvenirs of Scotland' competition, his work was shown in the recent 'Celebrating Scotlands Crafts' touring exhibition.

Now semi-retired, he specialises in his own design of soft leather sporrans and belt purses inspired by traditional styles. These are all individually hand crafted in top quality soft hide to produce pratical capacious sporrans and pouches for everyday use as they were in Scotlands colourful past.
