A wonderful collection of handcrafted Sterling Silver, Freshwater Pearls, Swarovski Crystal and Semi-Precious Gemstone jewellery, specialising in the ancient art form of chain-maille.

Chain-maille is an extremely versatile art form. With it I am able to spin lace out of silver. I make all of my jewellery by hand, one ring at a time. No soldering is used in my chain-maille designs. After winding silver wire into long springs of different diameters I use an extremely fine saw to cut that spring into many tiny rings. All to be woven back together into exciting jewellery designs based on ancient chain-maille patterns used by the Celts, French and Romans for battle armour.

All jewellery is handmade by me in my workshop located near Ellisland, the former home and farm of Robert Burns and hallmarked at the Assay office in Edinburgh where required with my sponsor/makers mark.
