Edinburgh Based Textile Artist Pauline Lam At 'Avoir Le Sac' specialises in uniquely designed hand-made bags, cushions and wall hangings. All designs are original and exclusive and many are one off pieces.

Working in a variety of fabrics ranging from velvet to tweed, silk to tartan, printed cottons and vintage materials.

Strong emphasis is placed on texture, of particular interest is the manipulation and layering of contrasting fabrics to create additional tactile dimension. Many pieces are then further embellished with beads, ribbons, sequins, feathers etc to create a beautiful yet functional piece of art.

All bags are finished to a high standard, are fully lined, with an essential inside zip pocket and a magnetic fastener.
