Fun Makes Good is the brainchild of Glasgow-based textile designer Eleanor Young. Combining traditional techniques with modern design and a range of media, Eleanor gives neglected furniture a good seeing-to, lovingly reworking them with striking upholstery and applied vinyl designs, bold geometric patterns and unusual colour combinations. Upholstered designs balance detailed embroidery techniques with luxurious wool, leathers and hand dyed cotton. Each piece is finished by hand, creating a truly one-off piece.
