Meet Your Maker

Libby Day

Libby Day uses a combination of new technologies and traditional processes in her work. She explores the intersection of manmade and natural architecture and landscapes, creating pieces that are can be both organic and synthetic in appearance.

Photographs of trees inspired the fruit bowls that Libby has created for Meet Your Maker. For the exhibition, Libby aims to highlight the way in which new technologies are used as a tool to embrace traditional practices and methods.

Libby’s sketchbooks were on display in the exhibition to show this process, and she demonstrated her design and finishing processes in the gallery.
